5 Things I Do For Fun

5 Things I Do For Fun

List five things you do for fun.

1. Spend time with my family.

This sounds like a boring answer but I have a young son, a dog and a wife. Some of my best memories are spending time with my family. Some highlights are Disneyland Paris, Beach walks, inflatable play pistols and movies by the fire.

2. Bars with friends.

Bit of a change of pace here, away from family duty, I love a trip to a boozer with my mates. Can’t keep the peace I used to but still fun.

3. Reading books.

Another predictable one but I read pretty much every day. Currently reading the Dune trilogy.

4. Learning new technology.

I work as a BIM Manager which has a lot of technology to learn. Things like AI – ChatGPT, Google Bard, Copilot – plus BIM software (BlenderBIM is my current fave) and some boring things like excel and power query.

5. Rugby

I used to play rugby in my younger days and now watch Ulster and Ireland. I have recently got into the Australian rugby league – NRL. Awesome league.

I’ve often got other random things on the go like homebrew beer making, Fortnite and DIY projects.
